In Canada? Send an email to the Canadian government asking them support Water as a human right!
The moment for having states recognize the human right to water and sanitation is right now. This is a critical step to seeing action to address the needless loss of dignity, misery and death that comes with not having clean water and sanitation.
An historic UN General Assembly resolution titled "The Human Right to Water and Sanitation" has been officially tabled by at least 23 co-sponsoring member states and the government of Bolivia.
The date set for UN member states to consider this resolution is Wednesday, July 28th.
We need this resolution to pass with a strong majority so we need to act quickly and collectively!
Starting today, we hope that you will join in a Global Week of Action for the Human Right to Water!
